When you're here, you're with friends.
Salida Community Center is a recently renovated non-profit facility that provides community space for meetings, fundraisers, benefits, community groups, private functions, fellowship, lifelong learning, social events, and special events. We also provide assistance to our senior community, families in need, and individuals, as well as food assistance through TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program). We utilize funds received to provide community outreach to those in need or whom cannot help themselves.
We feature a community lunch program Tuesday through Friday, with hot, homemade cooking from our in-house chef. Our monthly menu is available at the Center, or via this site and TheMountainMail.com. Cost is $4 for senior citizens, and $6 for all others, except on Wednesdays when we feature our very popular all-you-can-eat taco bar for $5. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on those days.
If you’d like to schedule your regular meeting or special event, please visit our FACILITIES page, or contact Elaine Ellemang for more information.
